Policies published on this website reflect our standard terms and conditions. Printed or paper versions of our policies may be updated or modified from time to time. In the event of a discrepancy, the most current printed version will apply.
All bookings are confirmed on availability or first-come, first-served basis.
A non-refundable deposit is required prior to securing the event date and time.
Your event date is not reserved until the deposit has been received and confirmed by Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC.
Verbal agreements or inquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking.
A booking is officially reserved once a signed contract is received and/or a sales receipt has been issued by our company.
A deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is due at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid in full [ 1 day before the event].
Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in a 10% late fee or a no set up/ delivery until balance is paid.
We accept [Cash, Credit/debit cards, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, ]
All prices are subject to applicable taxes and service fees.
Late payments may incur a late fee of [ 10% percentage].
Services will not be rendered unless full payment has been received prior to setup.
Any changes to the event details (design, colors, size, location, or timing) must be requested at least [4] days prior to the event and are subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply for changes made after booking.
Setup time begins 2–3 hours prior to the scheduled event start time, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Client is responsible for ensuring venue access, products provided loading access, and setup permissions at the scheduled setup time. Delayed access to the venue may result in: Reduced décor installation or additional fees for extended labor time. Any changes requested onsite may include additional charges and are subject to availability. Electrical access (if required) must be provided by the client or venue.
Breakdown begins immediately following the conclusion of the event, unless extended time has been purchased in advance. Clients must ensure venue access for breakdown. Failure to provide timely access may result in additional labor fees. StarView Balloon & Decoration LLC is not responsible for décor left unattended after the event.
Extended setup or breakdown time must be requested in advance and is subject to availability. Additional labor fees ($80) apply for time exceeding the scheduled service window.
The client is responsible for ensuring a safe and clear setup area. StarView Balloon & Decoration LLC is not responsible for damage caused by guests, children, pets, or venue conditions once installation is complete.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event: Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be eligible for a %20 partial refund, minus the cost of materials already purchased.
Cancellations made within 6 days of the scheduled reservation event: No refunds will be issued due to preparation time, material purchases, and scheduling commitments. A 20% cancellation fee based on the total booking cost will apply to you. Any remaining balance may be issued as a credit toward a future event, at the discretion of Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows: No refunds or credits will be issued. A 50% cancellation fee based on the total booking cost will apply to you. Non-Refundable Payments
Deposits and payments are non-refundable once services have been reserved. No refunds will be issued once setup has begun or services have been rendered.
In the rare event that Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund, including the deposit, or the option to reschedule.
Approved refunds will be processed within 3 business days using the original payment method.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC services events within [80- miles] of (Kankakee IL 60901). Events outside this service area are subject to additional travel fees.
Travel fees are calculated based on distance, travel time, tolls, and fuel costs. The travel fee will be quoted at the time of booking and must be approved by the client before services are confirmed. Travel fees are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.
Events located beyond [60 miles] may require:
A higher travel fee
An overnight accommodation fee (if applicable)
Earlier setup access to allow for travel time
Any lodging or extended travel expenses will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.
The client is responsible for providing free and convenient parking close to the setup location. Any parking fees, valet charges, or venue access fees will be added to the final invoice or must be reimbursed on the event date.
Clients must ensure timely access to the venue for setup. Delays caused by traffic, venue restrictions, lack of access, or client unavailability may reduce setup time and will not qualify for refunds.
Clients may request one (1) reschedule per booking, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event date. The new event date must occur within 60 days of the original event date unless otherwise approved. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to the rescheduled date if all policy requirements are met. Any additional costs resulting from the new date, location, or changes in scope will be the client’s responsibility.
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the event, or failure to secure a new date, will be treated as a cancellation and subject to the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Rescheduled events that are later canceled will not be eligible for a refund or additional rescheduling. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
In the rare event that Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC must reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be offered the next available date or a full refund. Acceptance of Policy by booking our services, the client agrees to this Rescheduling Policy.
Outdoor events are scheduled at the client’s risk. Weather conditions can significantly affect balloons and décor, including heat, wind, rain, and humidity.
Clients are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and must have a backup indoor location available if needed. The client must notify Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC of any weather-related changes or decisions no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled setup time.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC reserves the right to modify, delay, relocate, or cancel setup if weather conditions are deemed unsafe or likely to damage materials. Unfavorable conditions include, but are not limited to: strong winds, heavy rain, extreme heat, lightning, or severe weather warnings.
Weather-related cancellations are non-refundable. Deposits and payments may be transferred to a rescheduled date in accordance with our Rescheduling Policy, subject to availability.
If weather conditions change during the event and require early breakdown or prevent setup, no refunds will be issued. Balloon décor exposed to outdoor elements may experience popping, deflation, color fading, or reduced lifespan; this is normal and not grounds for a refund.
We will not install balloon décor in conditions that may pose a safety risk to guests, staff, or property. Clients acknowledge that outdoor balloon installations are temporary, and their durability cannot be guaranteed. Acceptance of Policy by booking outdoor services, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Weather Conditions Policy.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not responsible for damage to balloon décor once setup is completed. All décor is considered accepted by the client at the time of completion. The balloon décor is temporary and delicate. Popping, deflation, color fading, shifting, or deterioration due to temperature, weather, handling, or environmental conditions is normal and not grounds for a refund.
The client is responsible for ensuring a safe installation area and for informing us of any venue rules, restrictions, or fragile surfaces prior to setup. Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not liable for damage to property, including walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, or surfaces, unless caused by proven gross negligence. We are not responsible for damage or removal of décor caused by guests, children, animals, venue staff, weather, or third parties.
Clients and guests must not pull, hang on, lean on, or alter balloon installations. Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of décor. Replacement or repair of damaged décor after setup is not included and will incur additional charges. The client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the event, except in cases of proven gross negligence. Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, accidents, or emergencies.
All rental items provided by Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC (including but not limited to arches, frames, backdrops, stands, signage, and props) remain the property of the company at all times. Rental items are for event use only and may not be moved, altered, or removed from the event location without prior approval. The client is responsible for all rental items from the time of setup until breakdown and pickup. Any lost, stolen, or damaged rental items will be charged to the client at full replacement cost. Normal wear is expected; however, damage caused by misuse, negligence, weather exposure, guests, children, animals, or venue staff is not considered normal wear.
Rental items must be accessible for scheduled pickup. Delays caused by client or venue unavailability may result in additional fees. Rental items may not be dismantled, transported, or returned by the client unless explicitly authorized in writing. Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from improper use or handling of rental items. Outdoor use of rental items is at the client’s risk and subject to weather conditions. Weather-related damage is the client’s responsibility. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC from any claims, damages, or losses related to rental item use, except in cases of proven gross negligence. By booking our services and/or renting items, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Rental Item Policy.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if a client, guest, or third party engages in behavior that is unsafe, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive. We reserve the right to refuse service if event conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to hazardous venues, severe weather, lack of proper access, or failure to comply with venue rules. Service may be refused if the client fails to provide accurate event details, violates any agreed-upon policy, or does not submit required payments by the stated deadlines.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC will not tolerate harassment, verbal abuse, intimidation, or inappropriate conduct toward staff. If service is refused or discontinued due to client or guest behavior, unsafe conditions, or policy violations, no refunds will be issued. We reserve the right to modify, reduce, or cancel services if conditions prevent proper or safe setup. This does not entitle the client to a refund.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC reserves the right to refuse service requests that conflict with company values, capabilities, or availability. Refusal of service will be handled professionally and in compliance with applicable laws. Discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected class is strictly prohibited. By booking our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Right to Refuse Service Policy.
StarView Balloon & Decoration LLC provides services strictly within the time frame agreed upon at booking. If services extend beyond the scheduled booking time due to client requests, event delays, late venue access, or circumstances not caused by StarView Balloon & Decoration LLC, additional charges will apply. Overage fees are billed at the company’s standard overage rate and may be charged in 30-minute or hourly increments. Services cannot extend beyond the exceeded booking time.
StarView Balloon & Decoration LLC is not obligated to remain onsite once the contracted service period has ended. If additional time is not pre-approved and paid for, services may be concluded immediately at the end of the scheduled booking time. Any unpaid overage fees will be invoiced and must be paid immediately. Failure to remit payment may result in service termination or future booking refusal. Services are considered fully rendered once the contracted service time has concluded, regardless of event delays.
Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC shall not be held liable for failure or delay in the performance of services due to events beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”). Force Majeure Events Include, but Are Not Limited To:
Severe weather or natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, fires)
Government orders, venue closures, or legal restrictions
Power outages, utility failures, or transportation disruptions
Public health emergencies, pandemics, or quarantines
Accidents, road closures, or unsafe travel conditions
Illness, injury, or emergency affecting essential personnel
Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or other emergencies Effect on Services
In the event of a Force Majeure Event, services may be delayed, modified, rescheduled, or canceled at the discretion of Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC. If setup cannot be safely or reasonably completed, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel services without penalty.
Deposits and payments are non-refundable in the event of a Force Majeure Event. At our discretion, payments may be applied as a credit toward a future event or the event may be rescheduled, subject to availability. Credits must be used within [ 60 or 90 days] of the original event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Neither party shall be considered in breach of contract due to a Force Majeure Event. Starview Balloon & Decoration LLC is not responsible for any additional costs, losses, or damages incurred by the client as a result of such events. Acceptance of Policy By booking our services, the client acknowledges and agrees to this Force Majeure Policy.
